The all-female XSET esports team has been embroiled in controversy since its inception. Some have accused the team of being nothing more than a publicity stunt, designed to capitalize on the growing popularity of esports among women. Others have criticized the team's lack of experience and skill, arguing that they are not worthy of being considered professional gamers.
The team has also been criticized for its use of sexually suggestive imagery and language in its social media posts and promotional materials. This has led some to accuse the team of contributing to the objectification of women in esports.
Despite the criticism, the XSET team has remained popular, attracting a large following on social media and sponsorships from major brands.
