Team Vitality is a French esports organization founded in 2013. They currently have teams competing in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends, Fortnite, Rocket League, Rainbow Six Siege, and Apex Legends.
The organization was founded by Fabien "Neo" Devide and Nicolas Maurer. Their first Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team was signed in October 2013, consisting of players from various French teams. They made their debut at the ESL Major Series One: Katowice 2014.
In February 2018, they signed their first League of Legends team. The team consists of former H2k Gaming members. They made their debut in the 2018 EU LCS Spring Split.
In September 2018, they signed a Fortnite team consisting of four French players. The team made its debut at the 2018 Fortnite World Cup.
In January 2019, they signed a Rocket League team. The team made its debut at the Rocket League Championship Series Season 7.
In February 2019, they signed a Rainbow Six Siege team. The team made its debut at the Six Invitational 2019.
In April 2019, they signed an Apex Legends team. The team made its debut at the Twitch Rivals: Apex Legends Challenge

In Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Team Vitality has had several strong finishes in recent years. In 2018, the team won the ELEAGUE Boston Major, becoming the first French team to ever win a CS: GO, Major. They followed that up with a win at the 2019 CS: GO Asia Championships.
In League of Legends, Team Vitality has qualified for the League of Legends World Championship three times, in 2015, 2016, and 2017. They have also won the EU LCS Summer Split twice, in 2016 and 2017.
In Overwatch, Team Vitality has had several strong showings in international tournaments. In 2018, they won the Overwatch Contenders Season 1 Europe title. In 2019, they won the Overwatch Contenders Season 2 Europe title.
Team Vitality has also had success in Rainbow Six Siege. In 2018, they won the Six Major Paris tournament. In 2019, they won the Rainbow Six Siege Pro League Season 9 - Europe.

In 2016, it was revealed that two members of Team Vitality's CS: GO team, Nathan "NBK-" Schmitt and Dan "apEX" Madesclaire, had been using a bug that allowed them to see through walls. The pair were immediately banned from all Valve-sponsored events and their team was forced to forfeit all prize money they had won while using the bug.
In 2018, Team Vitality was again embroiled in controversy when it was revealed that one of their players, Richard "Shox" Papillon, had been using an aimbot during official matches. Shox was banned from all Valve-sponsored events for two years and his team was once again forced to forfeit all prize money they had won while he was using the aimbot.
In 2019, Team Vitality was once again in the news for all the wrong reasons when it was revealed that their CS: GO team had been using coaching exploits during official matches. The team was fined €30,000 and were forced to forfeit all prize money they had won while using the exploits.
As a result of these controversies, Team Vitality has developed a reputation as a team that is willing to cheat to win. This has led to many fans and players calling for them to be banned from all professional esports events.
