Rogue Wiki

Rogue is a professional esports organization founded in May 2016. The team is based in the United States and has players from all over the world. Rogue has teams that compete in a variety of games, including Overwatch, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and Rainbow Six Siege.

The organization was founded by Franklin "Frank" Villarreal and Ryan "Ryu" Wagner. The two had previous experience in the esports industry, with Wagner having worked as a journalist and Villarreal as a player and coach. The two decided to start their organization after they saw a lack of structure and professionalism in the scene.

Rogue's first team was their Overwatch team, which was made up of former Luminosity Gaming players. The team quickly became one of the best in North America, winning several tournaments. In August 2016, the team made a surprise appearance at the Overwatch Open, where they made it to the semifinals before losing to the eventual winners, Lunatic-Hai.

Since then, Rogue has expanded into other games and has had success in all of them. In Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, the team has won several tournaments, including the ELEAGUE Major Boston 2018. In Rainbow Six Siege, the team is one of the best in North America and has won multiple tournaments.

The organization has also seen success outside of games, with their apparel and merchandise selling well. Rogue has partnerships with several companies, including Twitch, Monster Energy, and SteelSeries.

Rogue is one of the most successful esports organizations in the world and has a bright future ahead.

The team has also won several other prestigious tournaments, such as the Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Katowice 2019 and the StarSeries i-League Season 7.

The esports team Rogue has been embroiled in several controversies over the years. In 2016, the team was accused of match-fixing by a former member. This led to an investigation by the Esports Integrity Coalition, which cleared the team of any wrongdoing. However, the allegations caused a rift within the team, with some members leaving as a result.

In 2017, Rogue was once again accused of match-fixing, this time by a professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player. The allegations were again found to be unsubstantiated.

In 2018, the team was accused of using an aimbot during a match. The accusation was made by a professional player who was playing against Rogue at the time. However, the accusation was later found to be false.

Rogue has also been accused of not paying its players on several occasions. In 2016, the team was accused of not paying its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive players their winnings from a tournament. The team later admitted that it had not paid the players, and said that it would do so in the future. In 2017, the team was again accused of not paying its players, this time for their work in an online league. The team blamed the league for the delay in payments and said that it would pay the players as soon as the league paid them.

Despite the controversies, Rogue has remained one of the top esports teams in the world. In 2017, the team won the ELEAGUE Major, one of the most prestigious Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournaments in the world.
