Luminosity Gaming is a Canadian esports team that fields teams in several competitive games. The organization was founded in 2015 and has since been embroiled in several controversies.

In 2016, Luminosity Gaming was accused of "smurfing" in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Smurfing is the practice of using alternate accounts to play in lower-skilled matches to gain an unfair advantage. Luminosity Gaming was also accused of match-fixing in CS: GO. The organization was later cleared of any wrongdoing.

In 2018, several Luminosity Gaming players were caught cheating on the popular streaming platform Twitch. The players were using software that allowed them to see their opponents' positions on the map, giving them a significant advantage. Luminosity Gaming was fined and the players were banned from Twitch.

In 2019, a Luminosity Gaming player was caught using an aimbot while playing Apex Legends. An aimbot is software that allows a player to automatically aim and shoot at their opponents, without having to manually aim. The player was banned from Apex Legends and his contract with Luminosity Gaming was terminated.

Luminosity Gaming has also been accused of not paying its players on time, and of not providing adequate support for its players.

Despite the controversies, Luminosity Gaming remains one of the most successful esports organizations in the world. The organization has won numerous championships and continues to field teams in several competitive games.
