Acend Wiki

Acend was formed in March 2016 by a group of five North American League of Legends players who wanted to create a new team that would be competitive in the growing world of eSports. The team is currently made up of three players: Dyrus, Voyboy, and L0CUST. The team's first tournament was the 2016 NA LCS Spring Promotion Tournament, where they finished in second place.

Acend has since gone on to compete in several tournaments, including the 2017 NA LCS Spring Split and the 2017 NA LCS Summer Split. The team has had mixed results, but has shown promise and is one of the up-and-coming teams in the world of eSports.

Acend has been embroiled in a number of controversies over the years, most notably their involvement in the match-fixing scandal of 2016. This led to the team being banned from competitive play for a year, and their captain, Zheng "Ace" Ye, being given a lifetime ban from playing professionally.

More recently, the team has been accused of using unfair tactics during matches, such as "ghosting" (communicating with players who are not present in the game), and using exploits to gain an advantage. These accusations have led to calls for the team to be banned from competitive play once again.

The team has also been criticized for their treatment of their players, with some accusing them of being overbearing and demanding. This has led to a number of players leaving the team, often citing poor treatment as the reason.

Despite all of these controversies, Acend remains one of the most successful teams in the world, with a number of championship titles to their name. However, their reputation has been tarnished, and it remains to be seen if they will be able to rebound from all of the negative publicity.
