Fnatic's Krimz won't play Elisa Masters Espoo 2022 due to a hand injury
Krimz from the British professional esports organization Fnatic has decided to skip the Elisaa Masters Espoo 2022 due to the hand, and Peppe "Peppzor" Borak will play in his position.

Due to a hand injury, Freddy "Krimz" Johansson will not play in the Finnish CSGO tournament, Elisa Masters Espoo 2022. He announced this news via a video on Twitter, and Peppzor from the Fnatic Rising will take his spot in the Finnish event.

Krimz has been a professional CSGO player for Fnatic since 2016. He played as a Rifler for the team. Krimz, 28, explained that he had the injury during the IEM Rio Major RMR but decided to continue to play regardless. He also said that he didn't practice with his team before the major, but he chose to keep playing at the Rio Major.

In the one-minute video, he explained the injury that "a nerve thats pinched in my hand thats causing a muscle to not repair itself and its creating some fluid underneath aswell." Even after the Major, his hand is still injured, and now he has decided to take a break to recover.

Peppe "Peppzor" Borak from Fnatic's academy team will play in Krimz's spot for the Elisa Masters Espoo 2022. Krimz might not play for the rest of this year and will come back next year to pro-scene after recovery.

Peppzor is part of Fnatic Rising and joined the academy team in 2021. The last time he played in Fnatic's main CSGO roster was during PGL Major Antwerp 2022 European RMR A, a BO1 match against GamerLegion, which they ultimately won by 16-5.
