Outsiders won the IEM Rio Major 2022 by defeating Heroic

After weeks of continuous grinding and countless matches, Outsiders wins the IEM Rio Major 2022 trophy by defeating Heroic by 2-0 at Mirage and Overpass. This Major is considered historic in CSGO. Outsiders under Jame IGLing won their first-ever Counter-Strike Major.

FL1T added another medal to his collection by becoming the MVP of the grand-final match. The IEM Rio Major MVP award was given to Jame, the in-game leader of Outsiders. Jame had 1.30 HLTV rating 2.0.

Outsiders won half-a-million USD and qualifies for the upcoming IEM Katowice 2023 tournament. The winner of the major also qualifies for the BLAST Premier Final 2022, scheduled for next month in Abu Dhabi, UAE, where eight teams will compete for the BLAST's yearly final tournament.
