After weeks of mesmerizing matches and chaos, today is the final day of IEM Rio Major 2022. The grand-final match of the CSGO Major is scheduled for November 13. The champion of this tournament will finalize today at the Brazilian stadium. The winner of this Major will get a whopping $500,000 and qualify for IEM Katowice 2023 and BLAST Premier Final 2022. The runner-up will get $170,000.
The grand-final match of CS:GO IEM Rio Major 2022 will feature the Russian Counter-Strike squad, Outsiders, taking on the Danish CS:GO roster Heroic in a best-of-three face-off.
Outsiders vs Heroic: Who will win the IEM Rio Major 2022?
Outsiders, compared to Heroic, looks very young on paper as the team transitioned into a brand name, Outsiders, from Virtus.pro. Recently, they also sold YEKINDER to Team Liquid, a top-rated player, but still, Outsiders has an enormous quality to win this Major under Jame's leadership. So far in the tournament, they have proved themselves to tough competition for teams like Vitality, FaZe Clan, NAVI, etc. The Outsiders have won their last five matches and are on a winning streak for the 6th game at the grand final stage.

Like Outsiders, Heroic has great experience in their squad, where the in-game leader, cadiaN, has played the game for over a decade. The rifler, Jabbi, is playing his first CS:GO major grand-final match, but that doesn't reflect his actual capabilities on the server. It is a big moment for the Danish roster as they are looking for their 4th successive win and the Major trophy.
Outsiders currently rank 6 in HLTV CS:GO world ranking, whereas Heroic ranks at 10. From the Russian squad, Jame and FL1T have a rating of 2.0 of 1.16, and on the side, cadiaN from Heroic has a 1.16 rating of 2.0.
Prediction
Overall, the Heroic looks slightly better than the Outsiders and has a chance of winning the major. However, Jame has the advantage of having a huge fan base in Brazil, and people love to call him "Jame time" during rounds, but Brazilians support Heroic more than Outsiders team-wise in general.
