ESL disclosed another Intel Extreme Masters tournament 2023 to host in Brazil. The event is expected to host in Rio, just before the CSGO Major in Paris.

ESL announced that their IEM (Intel Extreme Masters) 2023 event will host in Brazil, revealing the information just ahead of the IEM Rio Major grand final match.

In the event, they didn't reveal any dates or venues for their upcoming event; however, according to ge, the event is scheduled for Rio in April 2023. This CSGO tournament is due back a month before the Paris Major.

The IEM Rio Major 2022 is one of the most historic CSGO majors, and according to the director of ESL, over 100,000 people are expected to visit the venue in two weeks. Apart from the crowd being the best in Counter-Strike history, it is quite easy for players to come to Brazil without having issues with their visas.

The tournament will be part of the ESL Pro Tour circuit, a Masters-level event. It will join the already-announced IEM Dallas, the two seasons of ESL Pro League, and Championship-level tournaments IEM Cologne and IEM Katowice.
