2 Brazilian teams were eliminated from IEM Rio Major 2022
After yesterday's matches, only two Brazilian teams are left in the tournament; 9z and FURIA.

The IEM Rio Major is the most significant event in Counter-Strike history. The major is essential for every team participating, but a historic one for the Brazilian teams and players like FalleN, Fer, Coldzera, and even for the former player fnx, who is currently working as a coach for Imperial Sportsbet. Thousands of fans came to the stadium to support their favorite teams and players even on the first day of the challengers' stage.

Unfortunately, two out of 4 Brazilian teams participating in the IEM Rio Major have already been eliminated in Round 3's lower bracket matches of the challengers' stage.

Round 3's first lower bracket match was played between the Mongolian team IHC and Brazilian team 00 Nation. Where the Asian CS:GO roster was able to corner the South American team. The match was the best of 3; played in Ancient, Inferno, and Overpass. Except for the 00 Nation's pick of Ancient, the TACO-led Brazilian roster lost the remaining two maps and was eliminated from the Rio Major. bLitz from IHC becomes the MVP of the match with a 2.0 rating of 1.35 and a total kills of 93.
