Copenhagen Flames rebuild their CS:GO Roster
CPH Flames announced their new CS:GO roster and coming back again in the competitive Counter-Strike. It's called Flames 3.0.

The Copenhagen Flames have signed a new roster led by Thomas \"birdfromsky\" Due-Frederiksen. He is joined by Johannes "b0RUP" Borup, Thomas "TMB\" Bundsbæk, young AWPer Iulian "regali" Harjău and veteran Rasmus "raalz" Steensborg, with Benjamin "cube" Stabell fulfilling the head coach role.

The organization had previously announced their plans of building a new roster at the start of June, following the transfer of Nico "nicoodoz" Tamjidi and Fredrik "roeJ" Jørgensen to fnatic. This means that they are looking for new players to join their team.

Copenhagen Flames announced their new CS:GO roster through a Twitter post.

This is a new lineup for a Danish team that has sold a lot of players in the past two years. The team has two experienced players who will be leading the team and helping them to rebuild.

Two players from the MAD Lions team are joining this squad, along with one player from fnatic Rising. They will be taking over the roles of rifles on the team.

"Our goal is to retain our players for even longer periods of time to take advantage of our new resources and setup, which in turn will solidify our status among the best CS:GO clubs and to achieve even more,\" said Steffen Thomsen, CEO of the organization, while also touching on the change of approach: "Going forward our CS:GO division will add staff to areas like performance, data, health, science, and tech."

The CEO is talking about how the organization is known as a feeder team, meaning that they attract good players who are then sold to other teams. They want to be a team that players want to stay on, rather than one that players leave for other teams.

"This is a brand new project with new players and new staff members which means that we start from scratch.", said Philip \"tekziNz\" Karsbøl, Head of Esports in a statement. "Even though we know that this is a process that takes time, we aim to break into the top 30 of the HLTV world ranking as soon as possible through hard work and dedication."

The new Copenhagen Flames roster is:

  • Thomas "birdfromsky" Due-Frederiksen
  • Rasmus "raalz" Steensborg
  • Johannes "b0RUP" Borup
  • Thomas "TMB" Bundsbæk
  • Iulian "regali" Harjău
  • and Benjamin "cube" Stabell as a coach
