ENCE Wiki

Founded in 2013, ENCE is a Finnish esports organization that is headquartered in Helsinki, Finland. ENCE currently has players competing in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Overwatch, and League of Legends.

History

ENCE was originally founded as a Counter-Strike: Source team. The organization's Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team made its debut in early 2014. The team has seen success in a number of tournaments, most notably winning the 2018 FACEIT London Major.

Overwatch was added to ENCE's lineup in early 2017 with the signing of a Finnish team. The team has seen mixed results but has managed to qualify for a number of international tournaments.

League of Legends was added to ENCE's lineup in late 2017 with the signing of a Finnish team. The team has seen some success in the Finnish Esports League but has yet to make a mark on the international stage.

ENCE is a Finnish esports team that was founded in 2013. The team is best known for its Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) team, which has won numerous tournaments and is considered to be one of the best teams in the world.

The team was originally founded as a Counter-Strike 1.6 team and initially had little success. However, they soon transitioned to CS: GO and quickly became one of the top teams in the world. They won their first major tournament, IEM Katowice 2019, dramatically, coming back from a 0-2 deficit to win three straight maps and take the title.

Since then, ENCE has continued to be one of the top teams in CS: GO, winning numerous tournaments and cementing its place as one of the best teams in the world.

Controversies

The European esports team ENCE has been embroiled in several controversies over the years. Perhaps the most famous incident occurred in 2018 when the team was accused of match-fixing. This led to an investigation by the Esports Integrity Commission, which ultimately cleared the team of any wrongdoing. However, the damage to the team's reputation was already done, and many fans and observers continue to view ENCE with suspicion.

Other controversies involving ENCE include accusations of racism and sexism. In 2019, a player on the team made a racist comment during a live stream, leading to condemnation from the community. And in 2020, another player was accused of making sexist remarks towards a female journalist. ENCE has apologized for both incidents, but the team continues to be dogged by these kinds of controversies.
